The financial planning process

First appointment

Upon appointment our first step will be to gather important information about you and your circumstances and we can then start to explore an outline financial plan tailored to your particular requirements and situation. We will give you an indication of costs that are likely to be incurred.

Setting goals

We will spend some time exploring "attitude to risk" and talking with you to identify your goals over the short, medium and long term.   

Action plan

This leads on to the formation of a written action plan on how you can best reach your stated goals.  Our report will explain the approach we have taken and why. It will make very clear any "risks" involved with the action plan and balance this with benefits to help you reach an informed decision.

We will give you as much time as you need to reach a decision, we will not pressure you in any way. We will remain accessible for any support, or questions that may arise.

If your happy to proceed:

The next stage is to implement "your" plan step by step, and we will give guidance on the most suitable way to go about this, which will include agreeing ongoing reviews and service. 

Regular reviews and ongoing service

Progress needs to be revised at regular intervals which we will agree with you, and adjustments made as necessary, depending on changes in circumstances or your initial goals.

We cannot emphasise enough how important reviews are; as "change" is one of life's constants reviews are essential in helping you achieve your goals and for your long term financial wealth.
